We created a music video for two piece Colour Telly for their track ‘Moments in Life’, building a visual world centred around two artists existing in parallel realities. Their connection comes through a series of vintage CRT televisions, which served both as practical set pieces and as the conceptual portal between their worlds.

Alongside these twin narrative spaces, we introduced a contemporary dancer who moves dynamically around the TVs, reacting to the imagery of the artists displayed on the screens. To heighten the sense of connection and illusion, we filmed the artists a week prior in their full costumes, played those clips back through the CRTs on set, and lined up the screens meticulously in-camera. This created a striking practical illusion, making it appear as though the artists’ bodies extended behind the TV or that the screens were windows into their reality.

With its upbeat yet mysterious, and electronic feel, the music video embodies the energy and movement of the song itself, inviting the viewer to get lost in its rhythm and visual interplay. We developed the creative concept, filmed, edited, colour graded, and brought the project to life in collaboration with What Not Studios.
